The Basics: Creating An Account, Dial-in Numbers, Prayer Line IDs & Host PINs

Creating An Account.  In order to get your Prayer Line started, you must first sign up for the service here. Plans are $12.99 per month, plus tax. No hidden charges or fees. Once you sign up you will receive an email with everything you need to begin using your prayer line. That is a dial in number (214-997-0090) and Prayer Line ID (along with an optional Host Pin).

Dial-in Numbers.   All Prayer-Lines.com customers share the same dial-in number (unless you upgrade to a Custom Dial-in Number with a personalized/branded greeting), which connect callers to the prayer line system. Once connected to the Prayer Line system, callers are prompted to enter the Prayer Line ID to be placed into your Prayer Line. The standard Dial-In Number is listed below:

Prayer Line ID.   Your personal “Prayer Room” with Prayer-Lines.com is identified by a 5- to 10-digit numeric code called a Prayer Line ID. This code is unique to you, and your callers will enter that code using their telephone keypad once they have dialed (214) 997-0090 (or your custom dial in #) to connect to your Prayer Line calls. This code is permanent (unless you call and change it), so that callers always use the same Prayer Line ID whenever accessing your Prayer Line.

Host PIN.   This 4-digit numeric code provides access to special features designed for “Prayer Line leaders”, which we refer to as Hosts. The Host PIN is entered via the telephone keypad when dialing into a Prayer Line call, which allows that caller to control certain Prayer Line features using Keypad Commands (See graphic below).

No Advance Scheduling Required.   Prayer-Lines.com provides 24×7 “reservationless” Prayer Line access, which means that no advance scheduling is required. Your Prayer Line is always available, and is automatically activated whenever a caller enters your Prayer Line ID. You can create a Prayer Line call anytime, simply by instructing callers to dial the Prayer-Lines.com Dial-in Numbers, and entering your Prayer Line ID when prompted.

About Prayer Line Hosts

Your Host PIN provides you with access to special touchtone features during Prayer Line calls. You may not need to use these features, but they are available for productivity. Some people find value in using them to manage Prayer Line calls. Multiple Hosts are allowed on a Prayer Line call.

Follow the instructions below to dial into your Prayer Line as a Host. The presence of a Host is not required for a Prayer Line call. (The exception is if the host chooses to set up the prayer line to require the presence of a Host to begin the Prayer Line call.)

Starting a Prayer Line Call

Join Prayer Line as Participant

1. Dial 1 (214) 997-0090
2. When prompted, enter the Prayer Line ID, followed by the pound sign (#).
3. You will be immediately placed into the live Prayer Line.

Join Prayer Line as Host

1. Dial 1 (214) 997-0090
2. When prompted, enter the Prayer Line ID, followed by the star key (*) instead of the pound sign.
3. When prompted, enter your 4-digit Host PIN.
4. You will be immediately placed into the live Prayer Line as a host.

During the Prayer Line Call

Hosts and participants can access several features during live Prayer Line calls by using a telephone keypad. In the table below, the black keys are accessible by both hosts and participants. The other features can only be accessed by hosts (i.e., parties who enter the Host PIN when joining the Prayer Line).

After the Prayer Line Call

Your Prayer Line call will be automatically terminated when the last caller hangs up, unless the call is ended by a Host who presses *91 (star-nine-one) to immediately terminate the Prayer Line.
